Vulcan Superabrasives is a privately owned business located in Columbus, Ohio. Since 2004, our engineers and chemists have worked to advance technologies for the surface cleaning and preparation, size separation, and coating of micro and nano sized particles. Under multi-million dollar grants and contracts with the United States government, we have fine-tuned our systems to provide materials with highly controlled size & shape distribution, surface characteristics, purity, and coatings. Our abrasive products are manufactured under a strictly controlled and well-documented system.

Our History
To say we had a small start is an understatement!
Before becoming experts in the field of abrasive technologies, we spent over 20 years under multi-million dollar US federal grants and contracts developing nano and micron sized materials for use in applications ranging from bio imaging to performance sensors.
